“Me and my wife had a really nice time. Food was decent quality, staff were friendly and welcoming and the boat including WC was really clean. 2.5 hours is defiantly enough time though as there is lots of circling up and down the river. We sat inside which was the right choice given the temperatures were low at this time of year but thankfully we had the option to pop outside for a short while to see the lovely views which was nice as the reflection of the windows from inside made it a little difficult to fully to see. The band was good and talented. Could of done with…”

“Great musicians and performance. The young pianost was exceptional. The concert room has great acoustics. The organisation needs a little improvement though: it wasn't clear that you can't enter with an online ticket only and the queue for issueing paper tickets was enormous. The stewards don't inform people where the cloakroom is and 98% of people were with their jackets and coats inside the concert room.”

Hear Czech and European classics in Prague’s ornate Klementinum Mirror Chapel, with one hour of music, fine acoustics, and a memorable setting.

“The concert was everything I thought it would be. The string players were quite brave to be playing in such a cold venue (25 degrees F/-3.9 degrees C). I spoke to a violin player friend of mine and she has no idea how they could do that without damaging their instruments. The music was very nice, and it was good that the quintet invited a singer on stage a few times. We were sitting in the very last row, so having something visually stimulating helped as we really couldn't see the players. The music was festive and expertly played. Though cold, the castle provided excellent acoustics.Read more”

Hear a 1702 organ in Prague’s St. Francis Church during a one-hour baroque concert near Charles Bridge, with practical tips on seats and warmth.

“When the organ was played loudly. I felt the soprano had a weak voice and having her sing from the balcony made it difficult to hear her. And the organist needed to play very quietly so as not to drown her out. For the last two songs, she sang at audience level with the violinist, which was far better. That is a big church to fill with music.”
